After 4 years of living in Salt Lake City, we finally visited this historical spot where the pioneers came over the mountains. There are really neat cabins to visit and a school house that the kids could pretend in. Of course the main reason that we went were the three trains to ride and the petting zoo! We could have stayed longer, but only lasted about 3 hours.

I was obsessed with this adorable foal. She followed her Mom who was pulling a horse drawn carriage all day, just trotting alongside without any reins!

How very adorable! You have inspired me to try it out. I'm just sad we didn't go as early as you...before the fire! What a fun day, and what an undertaking!
