A house becomes a HOME!!!!

Not sure if these will appear in a before and after way, but that is how I will attempt to upload them...

After a few weeks we are done with phase one of our remodel. Most likely for several years. We ripped out old carpet, painted dirty old walls, updated the master bath and ripped out more carpet. We were lucky to find beautiful (mostly) hardwood underneath and tile in the kids bathroom. The kitchen carpet had to be gutted and we layed a beautiful tile in there to match the entry and stairs leading up. We did a new front door and exterior lighting to update the outside a bit. We have fabulous neighbors and my kids already have best buddies right next door. More to come...

long overdue and way out of order...

Teagan's personal highlight was stopping over to visit with cousin Kali, one night was not nearly long enough!

Our summer trip was a whirlwind again, but so worth the drive and the kids loved every minute of it. We even got to bring Brin and Valerie home with us and Amy came to Utah a week or so later to join in. The highlights were the beach (even though it was mostly foggy), Mike and Valerie's pool, a carnival bday party for Aunt Amy and a night away for Tyler and myself. Tyler slept like a baby, I was up all night! The kids didn't even miss us with Lubba in charge. Massive amounts of pictures and two months late, but still amazing memories...we saw so many great friends and family and 2 weeks seemed to last 2 days.
